Full Moon in Leo

The Full Moon arrives at 9 degrees Leo on January 28th 2.16 pm ET / 8.16 pm CET. The Moon shines glorious in the sign of Leo, as she reflects the light of the Sun, the ruler of Leo, who will be conjunct the greater benefic Jupiter.

The Full Moon in Leo shines opposite of a gathering of planets in Aquarius (the Sun, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury). The Moon is the body that moves through the twelve zodiacal signs in just 28 days. We tap into the Moon in our chart when we cope with daily life, when we emote and regulate. The Moon, in mundane astrology, helps to regulate the different planetary ‘influences’. As she circles around the Earth, she’s our satellite, antenna and buffer. She’s the Mother that protects us, cares for us closely. As a bunch of planets have gathered in Aquarius (and Venus will enter Aquarius soon too), this Full Moon in Leo reflects what Aquarius season is and will be about. Mercury will station retrograde, two days after the Full Moon, and travel backwards through the sign Aquarius. Venus will enter Aquarius soon, and by then all personal planets (except Mars) will be gathered in Aquarius. There will be a big emphasis on the parts of our charts that contain Aquarius, from the end of January until mid February. This emphasis has been building up since mid December. The Full Moon in Leo reflects the opening scene of the play that is about to unfold.

Yaasss this is a gorgeous New Moon! There are no hard aspects to this New Moon. We haven’t had a New Moon without hard aspects (or eclipses) in a long while. This New Moon is great for intention setting. Especially when it comes to insights that you’ve gained during the month of August. Use the ideas, knowledge, feelings, dreams that might have come to light around the Full Moon earlier this month. Or use the insights that you gained in the days leading up to the New Moon: Mercury passes through the heart of the Sun (trine Mars), only a couple of days before the New Moon arrives, bringing us clarifications and insights.

Full Moon in Aquarius – some thoughts on God and the grand conjunction & Astrology Forecast

The Full Moon arrives on August 3^rd at 05.59 pm CEST at 11 degrees Aquarius. The Sun is at home in the warmth of Leo. The Full Moon will be opposite of the Sun in the cold of Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius are two sides of the same coin. Both are strong individuals, in their very own ways.

Leo is expressive and charismatic. The Lion roars and performs. Leo likes to be adored and acknowledged for the power and the beauty that Leo possesses. The Lion puts himself in the center and is the leader in the savannah. Leo is ruled by the Sun, the strongest luminary and the star that all planets travel around. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, the planet that is furthest away (of all planets visible for the naked eyes). While the Lion puts himself on stage and likes to be adored, the Water Bearer couldn’t care less about adoration and puts herself outside the group. Leo is creative, passionate and warm. Aquarius is a revolutionizer, detached and cold. The Water Bearer is the humanitarian of the zodiac; a lover of humans while standing apart from the group. The Water Bearer is the odd one; we recognize the Aquarians in society often by their tattoo’s, funky clothing, unique interests, metaphysical wanderings and/or rebellion and activism. The courage of the Water Bearer is found in daring to stand apart, either by choice or nature. Aquarius doesn’t want to suit the masses. Horoscopes for the fixed rising signs – Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius – second half of 2020

The first half of 2020 was certainly interesting, I think for all of us. Apocalypse and all… What to expect for the second half? I wrote down some insights on what’s to come for humankind in general in the article on the last Full Moon (click to read). I also wanted to share horoscopes for the different signs. These horoscopes turned out to be quite large. And I only touch on a few transits. So these horoscopes are still incredibly general (not to mention that I can’t give specifics because that depends on the individual birth chart). Anyway, I share the horoscopes in groups. Here are the horoscopes for those of you with the ascendant in a fixed sign: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. (You can find the horoscopes for the cardinal rising signs in the previous article. I will publish the horoscopes for the mutable signs soon.)

In the horoscopes for the fixed signs I zoom in on the Uranus in Taurus transit. Which also means that your horoscopes are actually not that much about the second half of 2020 per se; a lot of what you read below holds value for a bigger time period. For some it may resonate a lot, based on the experiences you have had in the past two years. For some it will unfold in the future. Because I’m talking about a transit that lasts from 2018-2026 and you won’t notice its effects everyday over this whole period (luckily). Anyway, this transit is all about breaking free and revolutionising yourself! All the fixed signs have a chance to do that. You guys are actually forced to do it. Breaking free of chains seems exciting huh? Revolutionising yourself sounds awesome. In reality it’s often terrifying. So often we stay in our chains out of fear and sometimes even out of comfort. So often we come to love our chains. Chains can provide stability and safety. But, they won’t let you grow and develop yourself. They hold you back from chasing your dreams, even if you still have no idea what those dreams are. Uranus is trying to break you free from the chains, without your permission. To stand free, open and vulnerable in the world is scary. But goddamn there is so much potential too. Ok, enough introduction. More specifics in the horoscopes.
