The Full Moon in Libra, also known as the Pink Moon, falls on Wednesday the eighth of April 04.35 am Amsterdam time / CEST. Full Moons are about culmination. When the Moon is full she is in complete power. This Full Moon wants to remind us to take care of the group. Libra is the cardinal air sign that is ruled by Venus. Libra is focused on connection, care, justice and equality. Libra wants everyone to be able to receive health care, no matter what age, gender or cultural background. Libra wants everyone to feel save, seen and acknowledged. This Full Moon reminds us that every single human soul is beautiful and that everyone has human rights.Continue
On April third Venus moves into Gemini. For the past month Venus has been transiting through Taurus. Taurus is one of the two signs that is ruled by Venus. So in the past month Venus has been feeling at home and that made her strong and confident. It was the best period of Venus for all 2020, in terms of Venus feeling powerful. And as yours truly is a Taurus rising girl and needs the support of Venus, she’s grieving a bit now that the Goddess is moving into her neighbors home. Does this mean that Aphrodite has done her best for work 2020 and has no more love to give? Not at all!Continue
Apart from the heavy astrology we have had so far in 2020 (Lunar eclipse on the Cancer – Capricorn axis, Saturn x Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, Mercury retrograde, Mars in Capricorn) and the heavy astrology that is about to come (Saturn x Mars conjunction very soon and the fact that in the month of May Saturn, Jupiter and Venus station retrograde, and more heavy stuff coming later in 2020), luckily there is also good stuff! In my previous article I wrote all about the astrology on the current pandemic. The crisis hits u all. We are forced into something. There is a restructuring going on and we are just at the start of it. However, that doesn’t mean it’s all bad. It’s not all bad and war and sorrow up in the heavens above. It’s not all bad and war and sorrow on earth below. So let’s focus on that. Let’s make use of what’s here to serve us! I want to shine light on the positive in this piece of writing.Continue
What the f*** is going on in this world? SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 has been spreading over the world, fast. We know we are not done with this for a while. The world is in fear. Especially elderly people are at risk of dying. But none of us is immune to death, no matter what age or how healthy your lifestyle is. And this virus remembers us of just that.
This pandemic has our societies shaking. It’s like an earthquake uprooting, deconstructing and destabilizing our societal structures. It uncovers where we have solid foundations and where our weaknesses are. Where we have failed to build in safety measures. Where we have failed to attend to and care for the building blocks of society. In all layers and parts of society we are now confronted with our strengths and our faults. Where do we bond and create love? Where is the fear, racism and disconnection? This virus uncovers the weakspots in our economies, nationally and globally. This virus shows how important healthcare is. This virus shows us where and how we are resilient. This virus shows us the true priorities in life.Continue
On March 22nd Saturn moves from Capricorn into Aquarius. Saturn is the most outer planet visible to our naked eye. Saturn takes about twenty nine years to travel through all twelve signs of the zodiac and travels through every sign for about two and a half years.
So with Saturn moving from Capricorn into Aquarius we will enter a whole new chapter of our lives, so to speak. However, because a retrograde period is coming up for Saturn, he switches signs a couple of times this year. This makes the ‘overall transit’ quite interesting. Saturn will be in Aquarius for about three months from March 22nd to July. Saturn stations retrograde in May, moves back into Capricorn in the start of July, starts moving direct again at the end of September and enters Aquarius again halfway through December.
This means that we get a taste of what Saturn in Aquarius brings for about three months: March 22nd till July 2nd. Then we go back to ‘what we know’ (the energy of Saturn in Capricorn that we have had for the last years). And on the 17th of December we enter our new chapter definitively with no way back; but knowing a bit what to expect because we had a taste of it. Saturn will stay in Aquarius until the beginning of March 2023.Continue
In 1986 astrologer Demetra George published a book on Asteroid Goddesses and how to work with them in birth charts. Demetra George later became a worldwide known astrologer, not only because of her work on asteroids and mythology, but mostly because of her tremendous attributions in the work of translating ancient Greek texts on astrology and bringing back knowledge that was forgotten. Every astrologer working with ancient techniques and/or asteroids is able to do so because of her. Astrology has always been of interest to me. However, it was only after attending an online workshop of Demetra George that I knew I had found a calling. This woman is amazing and she is of tremendous inspiration to me.Continue
About every month, more exactly every Lunar cycle, I will give you some insight in what’s happening in the heavens above. What can we expect in general? And how can we work with it? Before I start with the upcoming Lunar cycle I will give you a quick recap of the last few weeks, because this is the first article in this series, so we will have a starting point.Continue
