Born from my love for, knowledge of and experience in working with as many different people as their life stories and my own quest to find purpose in life: Pallas Astrology is the place where I share my knowledge of the archetypal cosmos with the aim to inspire and to empower you in living out your own and unique meaningful lifestory. This is the place where my experience as a counselor and my knowledge of astrology and her sister sciences and practices come together to serve you. I’m available as a counselor, astrologer and tarot reader.
Counselor
From 2013 to 2020 I worked as a humanistic existential counselor in mental health care and palliative care, after finishing a three year master program at the University for Humanistic studies (UvH) in Utrecht the Netherlands. I’ve been academically schooled in psychology and existential psychotherapy, religious studies and western philosophy. As a counselor in the field of mental health care and palliative care I supported clients in finding purpose and meaning in the face of illness, suffering and death. I empowered them in dealing with fear, working through trauma, accepting fate and claiming autonomy where possible. I guided my clients to find their faith, trust and hope in the midst of darkness. I truly believe the brightest light is found in the darkest places.
So, apart from the astrology readings and tarot sessions, I’m available for counseling sessions. Inspired by humanism and supported by my knowledge of existential philosophy and psychotherapy, I’m able to support you when you’re faced with questions on life, experiences of loss, hopelessness or fear. Whatever challenges you face in life, the burden becomes lighter when you share it.
Astrologer
Astrology has enabled me to answer some of my own life questions, that many great philosophers or religions haven’t been able to answer for me. I’ve been interested in astrology since I was a young teenager. However, I only started studying astrology seriously and religiously (diving deep into the studies of traditional and Hellenistic astrology) when I was struggling to uncover purpose and give meaning in my own life. During this spiritual pilgrimage I fell in love with the practice of astrology.
In astrology my ever expanding interest in the cosmos, love of mythology, aptitude for math and analytical thinking, knowledge of psychology and religion and skills in counseling come together and enable me to look at you and your life story from the perspective of the heavens above, and to guide you to find meaning in life. I offer birth chart consultations and would love to help you uncover your purpose in life and help you gain insight into your powers, needs and challenges. Let’s connect if you want to take a look at the blueprint of your life.
Tarot reader
I’ve been practicing tarot and collecting tarot decks since I was a teenager. Tarot is an intuitive practice. For years I used tarot to gain insight into my own feelings, thoughts and behavior, and to understand and listen to my intuition and dreams. Throughout my teenage years, tarot was a private practice for me, like journaling, and I only read for myself. In my early twenties I started to neglect this beautiful practice, I forgot about my tarot decks. I found my way back to reading tarot a few years ago. I still throw cards for myself at least once a week.
Even more so I love to read for others. Tarot offers a magical world full of symbolism and archetypes. Tarot cards can speak for us when we ourselves are not able to find the right words. Tarot mirrors and reflects. Though tarot can be used for divination and forecasting, I especially love tarot as a tool in counseling. I employ tarot to bring clarity where there’s confusion, to give voice to what’s in the dark, to illuminate dreams and to empower you.
