To express my gratitude for the countless gifts we are bestowed with, I wanted to take some roses, carry them a long distance into the heart of a forest and leave the flowers with the water as a gift to the life giving forces of nature. While I was there, touching and sitting on the rocks, I thought of the people before me who had come there and perhaps taken a bath, washed their clothes or collected water for their homes. And while leaving I thought of the people who would come here next, wishing they would wonder where the flowers came from. Maybe their hearts will grow softer and they wouldn’t toss their plastic bottles and wrappers into the same water. Whenever I shoot flowers, fruits or vegetables in a landscape or in the city, I always leave them behind. I find this gesture fulfilling and spiritually satisfying, just feels natural. As the water flows, the petals will flow along and as the earth sits still, the pomegranate or an orange will thicken and sweeten, feeding many in need, I am sure.

One of the most important things I learned during my stay in Mysore, India, in December 2019, is to make offerings. No matter how poor, I saw every Indian make an offering in temples. Jupiter enters Pisces on December 28th (US) / 29th (Europe) 2021. Pisces is a sign of compassion, intuitive wisdom, merging / bonding and dissolving boundaries. I think we’re all longing for more hugs and less lockdowns. Boundaries don’t dissolve over night though. Pisces offers a welcome bath, but the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) will still experience stress in the upcoming year. We all have all signs somewhere in our personal natal charts. Jupiter in Pisces is conjunct Neptune. Neptune has been hanging out in Pisces for a few years now. Neptune and Pisces have an affinity; both archetypes share keywords like dreams, otherworldly experiences, spirituality, confusion, merging, dissolving boundaries, indulgence, a like of substances like alcohol or drugs, etc. This astrology is great for LSD trips, romance and intimacy and talking with God.
