These horoscopes are written for Saturn in Aquarius and the Jupiter x Saturn conjunction. Saturn enters Aquarius on December 17th 2020 and will stay here till March 2023. The conjunction will take place on December 21st 2020. Every twenty years the planets Jupiter and Saturn form a conjunction. Thus, on December 21st 2020 we enter a new Jupiter x Saturn cycle. In the past 200 years these conjunctions have taken place in earth signs. Now, we enter a new 200 year cycle of Jupiter x Saturn conjunctions taking place in air signs. Whenever Saturn changes signs, we enter a new chapter. Whenever Jupiter and Saturn form a conjunction, we enter an even more impactful chapter. In this article you can read all about it. These horoscopes are meant to give you an idea of what this means for you personally. These horoscopes give you insight on topics that will ask for your attention in the upcoming two plus years. Certain areas of your life will restructure in the upcoming two plus years, and these areas will never be the same again.
The Jupiter x Saturn conjunction and Saturn in Aquarius will be most impactful on those who have the ascendant in any degree of a fixed sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius).
Horoscopes are always written for groups of people. Horoscopes are general. These horoscopes are meant to give you a general interpretation of what the Great Conjunction and Saturn in Aquarius will be about for you. For more specific interpretations: look at the placement of your natal Saturn and see if you have any personal planets or points in the sign Aquarius or in any other fixed sign. ARIES
You’ve grown personally and professionally in the past two to three years. You’ve worked through challenges and blessings, lessons and opportunities, in your career. You haven’t been able to spend energy and time on all your goals and all work projects; because there are only 24 hours in a day. You’ve learned to scale back on some tasks and say no to certain professional invitations, in order to work with discipline and success on other projects. Your successes haven’t come easy. You might have not accomplished all that you set out to accomplish. But you’ve definitely made your mark and you can be proud of it.
In the years to come, you will learn about the value and importance of the groups you serve and the communities you’re part of. You will need to be of service to your friends, colleagues, students and peers; in order to serve the human collective and in order to serve your own personal growth and happiness. As human beings, we are social organisms; we humans thrive in groups. Even the most shy and socially awkward people need others. We all need shoulders to lean on, every once in a while. In the upcoming years you’ll learn about the meaning of friendship, the power of networks and the value of communities. Your community life will expand, grow and offer you blessings; if you show up and be of service. Equal give and take. The blessings will be karmic. Your friends, colleagues, students and peers are the ones who will help you to get you where you need to be in the upcoming years. Show up for them and they will definitely show up for you.
TAURUS
In the past two to three years you’ve traveled new and different paths. You’ve made some unusual choices and/or circumstances changed the course of your life in unexpected ways. You’re on a journey of self-expansion. The dreams and goals of the past are no longer yours; you’ve learned that you have outgrown them. You’re dreaming of a different future now. You’re setting out on a new path.
You’ve studied a hell of a lot. You’ve gathered knowledge on life, your worldview has expanded, and you’ve been challenged to get disciplined in your spiritual practices and in other studies. You’ve traveled the world, either physically or intellectually. You’ve been preparing for professional growth, either unconsciously or consciously. Now the time has come to see how well you did your homework. Now the time has come to share your knowledge, grow your business and put that glorious resume on LinkedIn. Even if you feel like you’re not well enough prepared; a new chapter is starting anyway.
On December 21st a new career cycle will start. The first and main chapter of that cycle will last until Spring 2023, but the complete cycle is meant to last more than a lifetime. In the upcoming years you will need to bring your all to build your legacy. If you put in the efforts now, you will reap the fruits during your lifetime. What you build now, is meant to last long. Don’t aim for immediate successes. Work for your future self. Last Spring, from late March until June 2020, you got a little sneak peak in the upcoming years. In whatever way you needed to show up in these months, you will need to show up like that in the upcoming years. Spring 2020 was rough. It won’t be entirely like that; there will be more luck on your side! But you’ll need to show up, like you needed to show up back then.
You will have to work hard and you’ll have to rely on your courage. You will need to be committed to your goals and dreams. You will be rewarded if you put in the effort. In the next few years, you’ll make your mark in this world. The next few years are just the start! Hard work pays off. Patience is key. Courage gets you through it. This professional journey will come with challenges. Part of you wants to expand and yearns for freedom. But you’ll also need to be disciplined and you’ll need to be okay with the limitations that you’ll face. You’ll earn your freedom by learning to cope with boundaries. You’ll earn your spare time by putting in many hours at work. You’ll need to work creatively, you’ll need to think outside the box and you’ll need to revolutionize the way you run your business; in order to build a solid, structured and sustainable business. Results won’t come fast, but they will definitely come if you stay committed to your dreams and goals and put in the effort of bringing them into reality. Print out this horoscope and put it on your fridge; keep it there till 2023. Keep it to remind yourself to work hard and to believe in yourself.
GEMINI
We should always aim for personal growth; we should aim for it until we’ve released our very last exhale. Healing work is never done. There’s always a loss, there’s always a wound, there’s always a ‘something’ in the dark corners of our psyche. Something that we rather not attend to. Some years we can push the ‘ignore button’, and go through life blissfully unaware of our shadows. Some years ask for inner work. In the past two plus years, you’ve done major inner work. In the past two plus years you’ve been confronted with inheritances; those things we rather not carry with us, but that are given to us by the dead, by past persons, by past traumas or by inner demons. You’ve been paying off karmic and/or financial debt. The universe has been trying to teach you that sharing, not just your talents, but also your feelings, earns you gold. In the past two plus years you’ve learned to collaborate with others and, even more importantly so, to collaborate with yourself.
The end of 2020 brings you some unexpected changes. Life is throwing you a curveball; the Gods and Goddesses are making some hefty decisions for you. Or you find yourself at crossroads; mid December you may make a major decision yourself. Either way, you’re about to set out on a new journey.
In the upcoming years you’ll expand your worldview, discover where and how you find and create meaning in your life, and restructure your personal belief systems. You will outgrow old dreams and you will create new ones. The Jupiter x Saturn conjunction marks the start of a new cycle in your spiritual pilgrimage. The next few years are all about expanding your mind, gathering knowledge on life and getting disciplined in your studies and spiritual practices. Whether you will be working on a PhD, training to become a yoga teacher, studying astrology or traveling the world. The next few years are all about traveling the world either physically or mentally; broadening your vision and mind. The more committed you’ll be in your spiritual practices; the more you’ll learn about meaning and purpose. The more committed you’ll be in your studies; the more you’ll learn about life. The more committed you’ll be in your journaling practices, writing assignments and book projects; the more glorious the publication, dissertation and your graduation will be in 2023.
CANCER
The past two plus years have been intense for you. The past year especially. Even without a pandemic, the universe has offered you plenty of challenges. Couples therapy, relationship coaching, single’s struggles. Whatever your marital status, you’ve learned all about your needs, pains, wishes, dreams and boundaries in romantic relationships and committed love partnerships. If it wasn’t in love… you’ve needed to enter a series of mediation sessions with friends, heated business talks with your boss, or something the like. You’ve learned about yourself through the challenges that you needed to face in dealing with others. These others may have been romantic partners, close friends, colleagues or business partners. Someone, or some people, have taught you to set boundaries. Saying no, standing your ground, honouring yourself; you now know what these things mean. In the past few years, the universe has given you some lessons in standing up for yourself. December is your graduation party.
When Saturn finally moves from Capricorn into Aquarius, you’ll get to bring into practice all that you’ve learned about yourself in these past two plus years. The end of December marks the start of a new chapter. The next few years may bring promising collaborations. Teamwork and interesting work projects may boost your self-esteem, bank account and resume. Collaborating isn’t always easy though. Challenges and friction are inevitable. The good thing about challenges is: they can fuel creativity, passion and growth. Whatever challenges you’ll encounter in your new collaborations, in the upcoming two plus years, remember: that you have all the skills, talents and knowledge that is needed. Remember to not sell yourself short. In the past two plus years the universe has been teaching you to stand up for yourself. Graduating was the most difficult challenge. Keep putting your newfound skills into practice, honouring yourself (your needs and your talents), and those collaborations will bring you goodness.
LEO
By the end of December, you begin an important new cycle of growth within your partnerships. In the upcoming two plus years, you’ll need to get clear on your needs and desires in the most important and your most intimate relationships. You’ll need to learn to state your demands. The best advice that I can give you is: to only get into bed or into business with those who know how to meet your needs. The relationships that you’re investing in and working on, in the upcoming two plus years, are supposed to support your personal growth and professional revolution. Your relationships, no matter if it’s in love or in business, are supposed to amplify your confidence and to set you free. You’re not meant to be constrained. In case you feel constrained, it may be time to fly out.
On the flip side, you’ll also learn that building the relationships – that offer you the desired freedom, love and confidence – means that you will need to invest. (No matter if it’s in love or with your business partners or clients.) You’ll gain a certain kind of freedom by sacrificing another kind of freedom. You’ll find joy in your partnership, by dedicating time and effort to bring your partner joy. It’s a beautiful and scary balancing act, that you’ll need to learn to perform. Balancing between self-sacrifice and self-assertion. Balancing between giving and receiving. April-June 2020 served as the preparation and/or ‘trailer’ for the upcoming relationship cycle. Relationship topics from Spring 2020 might resurface and/or they were meant to prepare you for something. The upcoming years won’t be as cold as Spring 2020 was, luckily. You didn’t have luck on your side, back then. It will be more on your side in the upcoming time.
Again, this all is meant to teach you to ‘only get into bed or business with those that know how to meet your needs’. You’ll also need to invest yourself into meeting others. Partnerships ask for mutual effort. In the upcoming years you may find that you’ll need to leave the partnerships that are not supportive of your personal and professional growth. You may sign marital or business contracts with someone you would have never expected to collaborate with. Whatever the universe has in store for you… it will be more serious than tinder dates. Be prepared to learn a lot and be prepared to face some challenges. Confrontations with others and with yourself are inevitable. It’s through these challenges in love and business, that you’ll learn about yourself. It’s through these challenges that your love life and your professional life will transform for the better. Eventually you will be rewarded, if you show up and if you take responsibility for your own happiness. Be honest about your needs and dreams, even more so to yourself than to others. And my last piece of advice: dare to take leaps of faith.
VIRGO
In the past two years you’ve learned that joy is found in the little things. Pleasure hasn’t been abundant, romance was a little dry, creativity only emerged through discipline. In the past two years, Saturn kept himself busy in the house of Venus her joy. Meaning that you were put on a diet, that you got a whole new perspective on fasting and that you learned all about celibacy. It wasn’t always fun and it wasn’t meant to be fun. Many artists create their greatest works in times of sorrow. The past two years have taught you that meaning in life isn’t found in chocolate cake, orgasms and parties. True creativity is the ability to transform one thing into something completely new. True aesthetics is the ability to see beauty in what we consider to be unpleasant. Be grateful for these lessons. Be grateful that Saturn is moving on; he will not bother about your creative and sexual juices for the next 29 years.
When Saturn and Jupiter enter Aquarius, you will start a new cycle concerning your work and health. In the next few years you’ll need to be of service to both yourself and others. Attending to your bodily and spiritual needs must become a priority. Inspiration can be found in spiritual practices, religious studies and across boarders. You’re in the process of expanding your personal belief systems. Your worldview is changing. Invest time and effort into daily health routines and spiritual rituals that support you. When you take proper care of yourself, it’ll be much easier to be of service to others.
LIBRA
In the past two to three years you have worked on the foundations you want to build your future upon. You’ve worked on matters of home and roots (from housing to your ancestral line). You’ve encountered challenges. You’ve gained clarity on what you want your foundations to look like. You’ve definitely done some renovating work. Either getting to the root of issues in your family, healing past traumas, working on the relationship with parents or other ancestors, or actually working on your housing: moving houses, buying property or renovating the bathroom. When 2020 comes to a close, you’ll have done most of the renovating and you’ll be prepared to settle down. Which doesn’t mean that no more changes are ahead. It does mean that you’ve gained clarity and that you know what you want your home to look like. Two plus years ago your idea of home and foundation was completely different than it is now. It has become more solid and sustainable. You know where to go next and how to proceed. You’ve put some important foundations into play.
These foundations will allow you to start a new chapter that’s all about your creativity and self-expression. In the next two plus years there will be a focus on topics that have to do with creativity. Creativity is a broad concept. Creativity isn’t just about paint and brushes. The most basic primal form of creation, is the creation of new life. In other words, in the next two plus years there may be a focus on topics that have to do with sex, romance and/or children. Creativity can also be found in the arts; from painting to music. Actually, creativity can be explored in any area of life. Self-expression can find its way in many places. In the upcoming years you will have the desire to creatively self-express and to create a legacy. Answer to this calling.
You will encounter challenges in your quest for creative self-expression, joy and pleasure. Hard work and patience will pay off. Don’t aim for immediate pleasure. Aim for future joy. Have you ever read about these ‘patience and self-restraint’ experiments in psychology that are performed on kids? Leave a kid in a room with one piece of candy. Tell the kid to not eat the candy and promise the kid an extra piece of candy if he doesn’t eat it. Leave the room and come back after 15 minutes. Some kids can’t restrain themselves and eat the candy; coming up with the most creative excuses afterwards. These kids don’t get a second piece of candy. Other kids do manage to practice patience. They wait and they get their second piece of candy when the researcher comes back after 15 minutes. Patience is a Saturnian skill. It’s is a test of patience and self-restraint. This will be your test, the next two years. If you succeed you’ll have two pieces of candy in 2023. The next few years won’t necessarily contain much immediate pleasures. The next few years are all about investing in future joys.
SCORPIO
In the upcoming years you will restructure the foundations of your life; you will get to the roots of certain private issues; you will rewrite your ancestral stories and you will figure out what it is that you want to come home to. The foundations of your life have as much to do with brick walls of the house that keeps you safe, as the home you grew up in, the history of your family and the home that you want to build.
What does home mean to you? That’s the major question.
Strong deep roots, allow trees to grow high. A safe, solid and comfortable private life and place to live, allows for a strong career. Understanding the past, allows to project a future. Being comfortable in our own skin, allows us to enter the world with confidence. One of these sentences must resonate with you and stir up something within you. If not, it will in the upcoming years. You will need to work on one of these topics. In order to grow, you will need to attend to your roots. In order to support your professional life, you will need to pay attention to your private life. In order to gain confidence and live in light, you’ll need to look at the dark space in your life. In order to write future chapters, you’ll need to rewrite the past.
The question is not just: what does home mean to you? What home do you want to build? The question is also: with whom do you want to build it?
With whom do you want to build your home? Who supports the foundations in your life? Who strengthens your foundations? The important partnerships in your life are undergoing change. The ways in which you relate to others and the ways in which others relate to you, are different than they were two years ago. Whether it’s in love, friendship or business, your relationships are changing and growing. This is a process that takes time, it’s a process of years. Your relationships are meant to support your personal growth; setting you free instead of restricting you. But, freedom doesn’t mean lack of responsibility or accountability. In the upcoming years the reciprocity in relationships will become visible. You’ll need to show up for those that show up for you. Be there for those that have your back. Together we’ll build a better world.
Your homework from now til 2023 is to restructure your home life and revolutionize your relationships. It will propel you forward in life.
SAGITTARIUS
This past year forced you to be creative with your resources. From your budgets and your time, to your talents and skills. Your income, self-confidence and joy, depended on your creative efforts and hard work. 2020 was a crash course in manifesting. Congrats, graduation is here. Take all that you’ve learned and apply it in the coming years. Saturn in Aquarius will pull your focus to one or two topics; daily rituals and communication. You’ll need to be resourceful, committed and creative when it comes to these topics.
In the upcoming two plus years, you’ll learn that big future goals are accomplished by small daily steps. Your daily life rituals will make all the difference, in what you will manifest in the upcoming years. The more committed you’ll be in your daily life rituals (like meditation, working out, eating healthy, building in down time, reading; or whatever that feels nourishing and supportive to you), the better you’ll be able to deal with challenges and changes in your work environment and health.
You’ll also learn that communication is a practice, getting the message across sometimes takes real effort. Your ideas are worth sharing. Your insights are meaningful. Your voice is powerful. Not everyone will want to listen, though. Siblings might not always understand what you’re trying to communicate, while people across the world may seem to speak your foreign language. Communication is about more than just words. The people close to you won’t always share your views. Don’t be surprised if issues with siblings, peers or neighbours arise. Conflict isn’t evil. Commitment and dialogue can bring people back together. Surround yourself with people that share your worldview and speak your language.
In case you’re a teacher, writer or working in communication; in the upcoming years you’ll need to get more committed in your work and practices. There’s potential to manifest a damn lot, with daily commitment and discipline. Good luck!
CAPRICORN
This year has been quite the year for you. It has been a sober year, to say the least. You’ve become more mature than you already were, taking up responsibilities that maybe weren’t even yours to begin with, and showing up where others didn’t or couldn’t show up. It probably feels like you’ve aged more than just a year; 2020 added a year and some more to your age. If you haven’t aged because of hard work and carrying responsibility, you’ve aged because of physical challenges. Either way, 2020 asked a lot from your body and mind.
If it has taught you anything, it has taught you the power of perseverance and patience. Qualities that aren’t strange to a Capricorn (but yeah… they aren’t that exciting). Capricorn always wins in the long run, though. Aries and Capricorn are the two olympic winners of the zodiac. Aries wins at sprints. Capricorn wins at endurance runs. Capricorn tends to get better with age. The years you’ve added may prove to serve you in the long run. You may find that 2020 taught you some valuable lessons.
The upcoming years will bring more light and less darkness in your life. More money possibly too, if you dare to work for it and ask for it. In the next two plus years, there will be a focus on your income, financial assets, and on other resources at your disposal (your talents and skills). You will be focused to grow your livelihood, which you’ll be able to do through hard work and commitment. You will be challenged to think outside the box and to creatively use the talents and resources at your disposal. At times you will experience a struggle between making money and either creative self-expression or experiencing pleasure; like your work doesn’t allow space for your creative urges, or like you need to prioritise making money over experiencing joy. It might take you some time to figure out, that these two actually don’t exclude one another. When 2023 comes, you may have found a way to bring the two together.
AQUARIUS
As 2020 comes to a close, you’re invited to leave behind your fears and sorrows. Old wounds have healed. You are about to start a major new cycle. The Great Conjunction in your sign, marks the beginning of a new chapter of self-development, that will impact your home life, love life and work life. The next two plus years will serve you major lessons in ‘growing up’. You will be rewarded if you show up in class, you’ll reap the fruits during your entire life.
The next two plus years ask for you to have faith in new starts and to believe in your dreams. The biggest lesson you’ll need to learn, is that your happiness is your own responsibility. Now that you’ve read it here, you have a head start. Your happiness is your responsibility. So, choose for yourself. Chase your dreams. Dare to go out into the world. Take responsibility for the mistakes that you’ll make in the process and show up for the tough lessons that will present themselves in your journey.
This past year you’ve probably been dreaming about making changes in your life. Maybe the first signs of your dreams coming true are already starting to manifest themselves in December or January. A lot in your life will change in the upcoming two plus years. You’ll need to free yourself from the past and you’ll need to build new foundations. These may be new foundations in another country, with another person, or just in another home. Either way, big changes in your home life are ahead of you.
Advice for the upcoming years: dare to do the unexpected and dare to take leaps of faith. These leaps of faith will get your where you need to be. They will also come with lessons, you’ll be forced to grow up. Growing up isn’t always fun and comfortable, but it’s necessary. In the long run, growing up will provide you the knowledge and skills that you’ll need, to build the life that you want to build for yourself. Dreams only become reality if you dare to chase them. Go for it Aquarius, the time has come to make a new start.
PISCES
The past two plus years taught you all about commitment. Commitment in friendships, with colleagues and in the communities you’re part of. You’ve learned to set boundaries with some and to state your opinions with others. You’ve needed to show up and you’ve needed to take upon yourself a more responsible role; either in a friendship, at work towards certain colleagues, in the classes you teach or in a group project you’re part of. You’ve learned to say no to some while saying yes to others. You needed to show people that they can count on you. You’ve had to sacrifice pleasure, fun and maybe even romance in order to show up where your presence was expected and needed. The pressure might have been high. Some pressure will be released when Saturn moves into Aquarius.
In the upcoming two years you’ll be called to place more focus on your private life. You’ve learned to show up for others. Now it’s time to show up for yourself. To take care of yourself. In the upcoming two plus years you might feel drawn to retreat a little more than you’re used to. Whether it’s in therapy, through meditation or another psychoanalytical or spiritual practice; the coming years you will be asked to heal some old wounds. With the healing of old wounds, starts the dreaming of new futures. Clearing out the old to create space for the new. Give yourself care, privacy, cosy blankets and patience. In the private spaces of your life, you will do some very important work. It doesn’t sound like fun huh? However, the work you’ll do in the next two plus years, provides the foundation for a major new cycle that will start for you in 2023. From 2023 onwards you’ll start to restructure your life. In order to do that in a fulfilling and successful way, you’ll need to work with a blueprint. It’s that blueprint that you’ll be making in the next two plus years, first unconsciously and later consciously. It might sound like vague talk now, but in two years time you’ll understand this horoscope perfectly.
