Horoscopes for the Full Moon in Aries

September 29, 2020

Artist unknown

For more information on the Full Moon in Aries, the current astrology and forecast: read this article.

You can read the horoscopes for both your rising sign and Sun sign. The horoscopes are written for your rising sign, so the horoscopes for the rising sign will probably resonate most. But you can read the one for your Sun sign too, for extra inspiration.

If you don’t know your rising sign and want to figure it out, you’ll need to have your place, date and exact time of birth. To figure out what your rising sign is you go to astro.com. Then go to free horoscopes and to extended chart selection or natal chart / ascendant. Fill in your data. Under extended chart selection: go to options for zodiac houses and under house system choose ‘whole signs’. Then click on ‘show the chart’. Your rising sign (also called ascendant) is the sign that is on the first house. It is denoted as AC. You also see it written in the red lettering under your Sun sign under your personal info.

The horoscopes are listed from Aries – Pisces.

Aries

Now that Mars is picking up speed again, you’re regaining physical energy, drive and passion. You feel ready to take on some challenges and want to assert yourself. Out in the world, however, you might feel slowed down. Things at work don’t go as fast as you want them to go, or there are some major responsibilities and challenges you are taking on. In the past few years you have worked on your career. Around the Full Moon and in the coming weeks you’ll learn to what extent your will, drive and desire is met in your career. Are you at the right place? What are your future ambitions? These are questions to reflect upon. It’s not time to make changes, but it’s time to acknowledge what makes your heart beat faster when it comes to your career. Mars is now retrograde in your sign. Usually this transit is supportive of asserting oneself and taking on challenges. At this moment however I would suggest you hold back a bit, considering Saturn’s position. Try not to get frustrated when things don’t go as fast as you want them to go and maybe try to avoid unnecessary confrontations.

In October and November you’ll be reviewing your collaborations, partnerships and important relationships. What do you contribute and how do you gain? What are the talents, capabilities and gifts you have to offer? Either at work or in your personal life, you can expect some unexpected changes or insights to enter your life when it comes to your collaborations and relationships.

Taurus

September has pulled your focus to your unconscious world, the hidden and the dark. Intense dreams, soul-searching, old wounds resurfacing, thoughts of self undoing. Your focus is pulled to dark inner depths of your psyche and soul. Maybe because you need to, because events have forced you to. Maybe out of desire, urge and need. The Full Moon shines her light in those dark inner depths. She will illuminate it. Don’t fear what you will find there. The most beautiful treasures are found in the dark. Insight, growth and healing often come with pain. Pain is not pleasant, but it isn’t bad. Allow insights to come to you. Be open. Receive. And this Full Moon might teach you exactly what you need to know. The wisdom that was hidden before. September, October and November are months of work on the self. It’s inner work. Retreat when you need to.

When Mercury goes retrograde in your house of relationships, mid-October, you can expect to see some sudden changes in relationship dynamics and/or you’ll receive some unexpected insights on your important relationships. It won’t all be easy. These insights will take a while to arrive. Don’t trust your insights at first glance. In November you might change your mind about the insights you thought you gained in October. It’s ok to change your mind. You’ll have more wisdom at the end of the year. Remember: no matter how distracting relationship stuff can be, it’s okay to retreat when you need to.

Gemini

Your collaborations, friendships, group projects and community life have been undergoing change and challenges. There’s a drive to be with people and to get creative. At the same to you’re held back, either by external influences or by your inner demons. You want to go out there and do your community work, but are stuck indoors. You want to make progress on that collaboration or project, but things just don’t seem to get moving. The Full Moon shines her light on your social life. Your social life might not be exactly what you want it to be, at this moment. The Full Moon is able to provide a little blessing, though. If you can, try to do something with a friend or with people who are dear to you (sometime around the Full Moon day). Or maybe just make a phone call with a friend. Choose consciously. Hang out with those who nurture you.

In October it’s time for you to lean on your Gemini skills. Flexibility will get you through it. Mercury will station retrograde mid-October. He’s already in his shadow phase. Don’t be surprised if stuff at work or concerning your health forces you to make changes in your calendar. You will need to do things differently than you expected. Or you will need to do things over or later than planned. It’s not you. You can’t have everything under control. Try to adapt. Keep breathing. Listen to your body and slow down when it tells you to slow down.

Cancer

Your professional life is asking for your attention. There are roughly two scenarios that I foresee. 1) You’ve been asked to show up at work and put in lots of energy. Energy you don’t really have. Work is demanding, but you lack the drive, passion, motivation or energy. Please realise that you are only human and that you can’t go full force all the time. Please also realise that it’s okay to lack motivation. Is this a temporary thing, just these months? Then wait it out. The passion will come back. Has it been bothering you much longer? In that case, take this fall to reflect upon it. Don’t make rash decisions. I would advice you to wait and only decide on things that your are 100% sure about or that can’t wait. Leave decisions for winter or later, if you can. You can take these months to do some soul-searching and to reflect on your career. The insights that you gain will be of use to you. 2) The opposite scenario. You want to go full force at work, but you are slowed down. Slowed down by colleagues, by challenges in your client relationships or possibly because issues in your romantic life / important personal relationships are slowing you down. Try to be okay with the fact that you can’t get as much done as you would like to. This is all temporary. Issues will resolve over time.

October brings you breaks from work that focus on creativity, romance and possible children (if you are a parent). Unexpected events and curious insights regarding romance, flirting and sex may knock on your door. You may pick up an old hobby or start a new totally different creative project. These endeavours might not come without bumps in the road, but a romantic adventure or creative road trip might just be what you need while life is so demanding. Distraction can be healing. Orgasms too. Make time for your pleasures and make time for the things that bring you joy. Last tip: make sure to schedule some downtime in your calendar between the art workshops, dates and work meetings. Downtime is key to get through the challenges. Rest is vital and productive. If you can’t juggle all the balls: this astrologer advices you to take some days off work.

Leo

September has pulled your focus on your long-term plans, future prospects and future dreams, your spirituality and/or worldview. What makes your heart beat faster? What kind of future life excites you? What bores you to death? September and October mark a journey of learning about the things that warm your soul. What values, future projects and dreams are you passionate about? What spiritual practices, religions, rituals, travels of the body, mind and soul excite you? You’re learning that you can’t ignore the yearnings of your soul. Your desires don’t want to be ignored. You shouldn’t ignore them. You’ll die of boredom. If you already have learned to listen to those inner callings. Good for you! Take this time to learn all about them and to envision a plan to bring them into reality more and more. If you’ve been ignoring these callings: start to listen to them know. Figure out what excites you. You don’t need to make sudden changes in life. Just take this time to figure out what you want. The decision, if needed, will come later. The Full Moon might help you to illuminate some things.

While part of you wants to focus on the future, you’re being asked to attend to your roots. There’s a desire to grow, or at least to figure out in what direction you want to grow. But, if a tree wants to grow high, it needs strong roots. October pulls your attention to your roots: home life and possibly family matters. Maybe you’re moving houses, maybe you’re just redecorating. The redecorating can be as much an internal process as an external one (some soul-searching and psychoanalysis isn’t much different than redoing your living room). You might feel the need to figure out things on your own. You might desire freedom that you don’t feel you have, at this moment. Especially family and other important relationships can sometimes feel like chains. It’s always ok to retreat and to schedule in alone time.

Virgo

The Full Moon brings a spotlight on your collaborations and possibly financial issues. In case there are financial issues, get clear with yourself and shine the spotlight on the matters you would rather put in dark corners. When it comes to collaborations, you might receive some clarity and insight on your desires and your needs. What do you want to get out of your collaborations and what do your bring to the table? In the month of October you might learn that you’ll need to assert yourself. Gather the courage and state your demands. It might not all go smoothly. You might meet challenges or arguments. Self-sacrifice, however, does not pay the bills and does not excite the soul.

In the month of October you will probably get to rearranging your daily schedules and communications. You might start some new daily or weekly rituals, or pick up some old ones that you had forgotten about. You might also drop them as fast as you started them. It’s ok. In the upcoming weeks you’ll figure out how you want to arrange your daily life, in support of work and in support of your pleasures. It’s important to carve out time for the things that bring you joy. By trial and error you’ll eventually get to a routine that works for you.

Libra

The Full Moon illuminates the most important relationships in your life, whether it is in your career or at home. September has brought you to retrace some steps in the journeys you have undertaken with the ones most important to you. You’re realising what it is that warms your heart. You’re also realising what it is that frustrates you. Some Libras are about to learn that they need to assert themselves. Harmony and balance are about to get disrupted. Mars likes to tip the scales. Some Libras are about to get confronted with tensions. For some of you, however, October isn’t so much about tension. For some it’s all about reminding what it is that sparks your passion in intimate relationships. Mars can also bring back the fun and excitement in relationships that have gotten a bit dull. Mars retrograde teaches you all about passion, desire, assertiveness, aggression and frustration in intimate partnerships. Which can be both exciting and painful. (In case you’re a business owner, these topics might (also) be about your business partnerships.)

In the upcoming month your focus is pulled to your worth. To your sense of self-worth and possibly possessions and bank account. It’s a process of re-evaluation. A process that comes with twists and turns, highs and lows. Some unexpected money might flow in, but also disappear as fast as you received it. You might gain some welcome liberating insights that boost your sense of self-worth. Care for these insights as welcome gifts. They are valuable and even so more important: true. Don’t listen to inner voices that make you put yourself down. Don’t doubt your worth. In case such voices pop up: reach out to friends or go high on Venusian self care. Long baths and slik dresses boost self love like no (wo)man can.

Scorpio

In the past weeks you’ve had to deal with demands, issues or busy schedules at work. Maybe leaving you too tired to work out, eat or even sleep. Your health / wellbeing needs some attention and love. You’re the one who needs to give that love to yourself, to attend to your bodily and emotional needs. The Full Moon illuminates where and how you serve. Where and when are you at service of others and where and when do you serve yourself? Does being assertive come naturally to you? Do you need to tone it down and be a little less dominant? Maybe retreat that Scorpion tail in order to prevent arguments? Or are you actually taking hits you don’t need to take? Self-sacrifice is not the service you want to provide. You are allowed to state you boundaries, assert yourself and use your poison every now and then in order to protect yourself.

As Mercury travels through your sign, you will contemplate on yourself. If you’re open to it, you can receive some valuable insights. Those insights will come and go, they will have an element of surprise and will sometimes even be contradictory. When Mercury is retrograde and opposite Uranus, you’ll experience some chaos in your mind and your sense of self might get a little uprooted. Keep breathing. When Mercury eventually transits back into Libra at the end of October, there’s some soul-searching for you to do. Make notes of your dreams. Allow yourself to wander into the unconscious. Meditate. The questions that pop up in October will be answered in November when Mercury moves through Libra and later returns into Scorpio. In the depths of your unconscious and in your journal writings you’ll find your answers. While Mercury travels through your sign you might feel the need to express yourself. While he’s retrograde, I would advice on self-expression in your diary. You might not want to express all your thoughts out loud. You might have the urge to deliver messages that come sudden or are maybe upsetting to others. The lightbulb moments you experience, might not be so clear for others. Wait till Mercury is direct again before having ‘upsetting talks’. Maybe by then, the issue will have resolved itself. Or by then you might have changed your mind again. And otherwise, well in that case you’re just really sure the message needs to be delivered.

Sagittarius

The Full Moon puts the spotlight on topics that have to do with romance, creativity and children. September put a strain on your pleasures, joys and/or creative projects. Maybe it’s been difficult to go after your desires and get your needs met. How about your projects? Creative juices dried up? Possibly the energy is just lacking to get it going in the bedroom. Or you just lost interest in the dating scene and rather work on creating a life for yourself. You’re directing your passion and energy at different aims. That’s ok. You might need to find the right balance in going at it alone and working with others. Sometimes we need to walk by ourselves and at other times we walk hand in hand, whether it’s in love or in career.

Be mindful of self-criticism in the upcoming month. Self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviour is lurking in the depths of the psyche. We all have these habits that stand in our way. We all can be our own worst enemies sometimes. Be mindful to not fall into old traps. Focus on compassion in the month of October. Practice loving-kindness meditation. Create warm and loving atmospheres by burning candles and incense. When self-love practices aren’t sufficient, make sure to reach out to others. Sometimes alone time is the best gift we can gift ourselves. Sometimes alone time can aggravate negative spirals of self undoing. You know yourself best. Be honest with yourself. Reach out to friends when it’s in your best interest. Turn down party invitations when that’s in your best interest.

Capricorn

They say that home is where the heart is. Which might explain why home life, family and childhood memories can contain unconditional love but also tremendous pain. September pulled your focus to topics that have to do with home, family, roots and foundations. Whatever issues flared up, you’ve been asked to assert yourself. The Full Moon will illuminate the issues you’ve been dealing with, either bringing some insight, clarification and possibly some solution or culmination. Not all will be resolved just yet, but the Full Moon will bring some light into the darkness. Take the upcoming month to reflect on your roots and history. On the foundations your were born into, build for you and that you have build so far for yourself. Your foundations aren’t fixed. You can renovate if you want or need to. Reflect on what foundations you want to build your future home on. While private matters ask for your attention, part of your mind is with your career. Those foundations will not just support bricks and roofs. Private building blocks also support your career. Whatever insights or messages that are delivered to you that have to do with career, don’t give them tremendous weight immediately. If they are truly valuable they will stick. If they go as fast as they came, they were not meant for you. You’ll figure things out as you go. Give yourself time.

While Mercury is retrograde you’ll be reviewing your community life and friendships. You might get caught in some unexpected events, receive surprising postcards or get back in touch with an old friend. Expect the unexpected. Not all your interactions with the people around you will be pleasant. This Mercury retrograde is a chaotic mix of Martian pain and liberating or exciting surprises. So, this Mercury retrograde might bring some interesting experiences that’ll gift you a high needed dose of fun. Again, it’s a mixed bag. You’ll have to see whatever treats the universe has in store for you.

Aquarius

Throughout September you’ve dealt with challenging conversations, annoying communications, maybe even letter bombs or, on the contrary, the absence of needed talks. Keeping your daily routines going might have been a challenge too. The Full Moon sheds her light on these issues. Which might help you to find solutions that were previously hidden. Or it might cause the problems to become more visible and possibly even greater. Being ruled by Saturn you’re known to be able to keep your cool Aquarius. Keep your cool when challenging conversations arrive at your doorstep and you’ll be just fine. If, however, your boundaries get crossed: don’t be shy to assert yourself. Sometimes it’s actually necessary to lose your cool, just to state your limits loud and clearly. The necessary thing isn’t always the pleasant thing to do. Last bit of advice: don’t waste your energy on talks that you know will not have the result you’re secretly hoping for. Better reserve that energy for your daily routines in support of your wellbeing or reserve it for your work, because good chance you’ll need it.

In the month of October you’ll be reflecting on your career and professional roles. Some unexpected changes or events are about to knock on your door, bringing challenges and/or liberating experiences into your career. You’ll be asked to review your professional life and goals. There might be some chaos at work. Good chance you’ll need to do somethings over, because not everything will go right at the first attempt. Three is a charm! Be patient and go with the flow. Chaos can be experienced both as disrupting and exciting. Give yourself time to find the answers on the career questions that will pop up. Good chance you’ll find your answers later in fall.

Pisces

In the past month you’ve gained insight into how and what you contribute in your collaborations and relationships, the communications with others and work projects. What do you give and what do you receive? How do your work together? What’s fair? The ways in which we exchange with others often reflects our sense of self-worth. The Full Moon shines her light on your resources, sense of self-worth and your bank-account. In the past month some resources might have gotten broken, overheated or burned, possibly causing you to dip into your savings. As long as it’s broken phones or an overheated hair blower, you’re okay. Those things are definitely annoying, but they can be dealt with in a practical manner. It’s just stuff. It’s just the material. Your self-worth is far more important than the numbers on your bank account. It’s ok to invest your savings into whatever raises your self-worth. It’s ok to be assertive, to state your boundaries to others or to ask for others to treat you as your a worth (which is a damn lot).

In the upcoming month you’ll reflect on your longterm plans and future. Some unexpected insights or events might be on their way, very subtly or maybe majorly impacting your journey into the future. Give things time. There’s no rush. In case you’re in college, into some kind of studies or course, or working on a research or writing project, expect some delays or twits and turns to challenge you. While Mercury is retrograde you might need to do things over or change some things up in case you have an academic career.
