Horoscopes for the fixed rising signs – Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius – second half of 2020

July 8, 2020

Artist unknown

The first half of 2020 was certainly interesting, I think for all of us. Apocalypse and all… What to expect for the second half? I wrote down some insights on what’s to come for humankind in general in the article on the last Full Moon (click to read). I also wanted to share horoscopes for the different signs. These horoscopes turned out to be quite large. And I only touch on a few transits. So these horoscopes are still incredibly general (not to mention that I can’t give specifics because that depends on the individual birth chart). Anyway, I share the horoscopes in groups. Here are the horoscopes for those of you with the ascendant in a fixed sign: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. (You can find the horoscopes for the cardinal rising signs in the previous article. I will publish the horoscopes for the mutable signs soon.)

In the horoscopes for the fixed signs I zoom in on the Uranus in Taurus transit. Which also means that your horoscopes are actually not that much about the second half of 2020 per se; a lot of what you read below holds value for a bigger time period. For some it may resonate a lot, based on the experiences you have had in the past two years. For some it will unfold in the future. Because I’m talking about a transit that lasts from 2018-2026 and you won’t notice its effects everyday over this whole period (luckily). Anyway, this transit is all about breaking free and revolutionising yourself! All the fixed signs have a chance to do that. You guys are actually forced to do it. Breaking free of chains seems exciting huh? Revolutionising yourself sounds awesome. In reality it’s often terrifying. So often we stay in our chains out of fear and sometimes even out of comfort. So often we come to love our chains. Chains can provide stability and safety. But, they won’t let you grow and develop yourself. They hold you back from chasing your dreams, even if you still have no idea what those dreams are. Uranus is trying to break you free from the chains, without your permission. To stand free, open and vulnerable in the world is scary. But goddamn there is so much potential too. Ok, enough introduction. More specifics in the horoscopes.

These horoscopes are written for your rising sign. They are not written for your Sun sign. The rising sign is the sign where your ascendant is placed in. To figure out what your rising sign is, you’ll need to know your place, date and exact(!) time of birth. If you don’t know your time of birth, unfortunately you can’t know your rising sign.

To figure out what your rising sign is you go to astro.com. Then go to free horoscopes and to extended chart selection or natal chart / ascendant. Fill in your data. Under extended chart selection: go to options for zodiac houses and under house system choose ‘whole signs’. Then click on ‘show the chart’. Your rising sign (also called ascendant) is the sign that is on the first house. It is denoted as AC. You also see it written in the red lettering under your Sun sign under your personal info.

I wanted to write horoscopes for the second half of 2020. However, for the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) a lot of the more important transits are happening over a few years, instead over the next couple of months. For the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) the most notable transits in the second half of 2020 are in fact short transits that happen in the next few months. For the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) the most impactful transits have been happening for a while, but this will change at the end of this year. So I’ve only incorporated a few transits and definitely not all in these horoscopes. I also can’t take into account your personal natal placements. These horoscopes are very very general. For a better assessment you would need to book a reading.

Last note: I know that some readers like to know how I delineate certain things. I explicitly name the different transits in the horoscopes, so those of you who like to learn more about astrology can get some insight in ‘how to write horoscopes’.

The astrology of 2020 is crap. Don’t expect rainbows and pots of gold. These horoscopes are kind of depressing… With silver linings. We do it for the silver linings! Ok here we go. Below are the horoscopes for the fixed signs.

Taurus rising

Dear Taurus,

Life has been a rollercoaster for you long before a pandemic took over the world. Since Uranus entered your 1st house, for a bit in 2018 and definitively in 2019, you have been asked to revolutionise yourself. There is a part of you that wants to break whatever chains that have been holding you contained. There is a part of you that wants to be free. There is a part of you that wants to change so rapidly that you can barely keep up. It’s uncomfortable and ungrounding. Every time you think you are finally able to again grow some roots and ground yourself, you are either surprised by your own rebellious spontaneous decision making or by life throwing the most unexpected rollercoaster like experiences at your feet.

Taurus is known to be the most stable and grounded sign of the zodiac. As a Taurus rising you are probably known to be stable and grounded (and stubborn); or at least a part of you is like that (of course it also depends on other placements in your birth chart). Taurus doesn’t like change. Taurus likes comfort and stability. Uranus brings everything but! For all the fixed signs this transit of Uranus is uncomfortable. For you, uncomfortable probably doesn’t even describe it. Uranus moves through your house of self. You are not just asked to break free from chains in certain areas of life. You are asked to break free from everything that has been holding your self contained. Taurus is a fixed earth sign, Taurus is like a rock. Now the universe is trying to change that rock into a sculpture. Working with soft clay is not that difficult. But you are like a diamond in the rough. Very difficult to work on… the result can be beautiful if you allow the cosmos to do the sculpturing. I want to advice you: don’t resist.

Life is rollercoaster. It will stay more or less of a rollercoaster for a while. From 2018 – 2026 you have the chance to revolutionise yourself. This is major! Not everyone gets that chance. It’s uncomfortable. But it’s also a precious gift from the universe to you. If you find a way to be comfortable with the uncomfortable, this transit can bring you amazing growth. Amazing unbelievable growth. If you try to resist Uranus like a stubborn bull, it will be all the more difficult. If you manage to surrender to whatever life throws at you, Uranus will bring you to a magnificent place. This transit is like hopping from one melting icecap to another melting icecap and so on. But: just hop. Keep hopping. As long as you keep hopping, you will land somewhere and it will be okay. Don’t stop, don’t resist. When you stop hopping you will drown. That’s my advice for working with Uranus.

While Uranus moves through your 1st house, he makes aspects to all angular houses. So you won’t just experience challenge within yourself, you will experience it as much in your home life, relationships and career. This transit is known to trigger big life changing events. It triggers divorces (it doesn’t need to; please don’t freak out, plenty of relationships grow into something more beautiful thanks to Uranus too. It all depends on whether the relationship supports you or is holding you back.). It triggers unexpected new love adventures. Don’t be surprised if you make big career changes between 2018 and 2026. You may even move across the country, across the world, or become a traveling nomad. Home, work and love are all in for challenge, change, adventure and revolution. Take a deep breath and go with it. Taurus, you are known to be a stubborn bull and resist change that is forced upon you. You are known to dig in your heels whenever you feel pushed. Don’t dig in your heels these years. It will make things worse. Go against your nature and let life push you where it wants to bring you.

So, this is not just for the second half of 2020, it will last till 2026. At the moment Uranus is at ten degrees Taurus and Uranus stations retrograde at ten degrees Taurus mid August. Uranus will transit all the way back to six degrees of Taurus at the end of 2020. I would say this retrograde period of Uranus is most impactful to those of you with the ascendant between roughly 4-12 degrees of Taurus. If your ascendant lies between 1-10 degrees of Taurus you have probably been in for a ride for a while, because Uranus has been moving over the early degrees of Taurus for multiple times in the last two years due to earlier retrograde periods. Hold on tight. Try to find comfort in the uncomfortable. If your ascendant is in the later degrees of Taurus, the rollercoaster ride will have probably been pretty mild. The closer Uranus is to your ascendant, the more loopings you will experience. The further away Uranus moves from your ascendant, the more grounded your life will become again. So depending on the degree of your ascendant, you have had the worst, are in the midst of it, or still need to experience the above in full force.

Throughout the rest of 2020 Mars will transit through your 12th house. In July this provides some sudden energy, motivation and passion. Make use of it and direct it; put it into work, sports, sex, whatever. That energy needs to flow. That energy needs to burn something, otherwise it will burn you. If you don’t make use of it, it might come out via sudden bursts of anger. Repressed hidden anger that comes out of nowhere. In September this will shift. In September you will notice your energy levels will decline. It’s like a fatigue that comes out of nowhere. A low battery that you will have trouble to recharge. You will experience uncertainty; where did my motivation and passion go? I suggest you schedule in plenty of alone time. I definitely recommend meditation. And keep checking in on feelings of anger and frustration that might linger in the background of your mind. Mid November you will find that you will retrieve mental energy again.

From the end of October to mid December Venus, your ascendant’s ruler, makes two interesting transits. First she will be in Libra, where she feels at home. However, she will be opposite Mars. Because Venus is at home, you will experience a general sense of empowerment. Which is nice! Soak in it! And do all the Venusian stuff in fall: take long warm baths, dress up in your favorite clothing, schedule time in your calendar with your partner and/or sex toys. Venus thrives on pleasure. I do want to note: the opposition with Mars might bring some inflammation or injury in your body; which can be quite small and meaningless, so don’t worry about it upfront.

When Venus moves out of Libra she will move into Scorpio. Scorpio contains your 7th house of committed partnerships. To have Venus moving through your 7th house can bring blessings in love. I have to note however, that Venus is in her detriment in Scorpio. So, she’s not particularly strong there. Mars is the ruler of Scorpio and he hangs out in Aries where he is strong. Mars also won’t be offering help to Venus. So even though Venus wants to bring blessings into your committed partnerships, she will have a hard time doing that. Nonetheless, it isn’t a bad transit, it is a good transit! Venus might just be powerful enough to bring you some good romance. In case you are in a committed romantic relationship, this transit is supportive for love, connection, romance and sex. In case you are single, this transit might bring some new love into your life or a good chance that it brings at least some fun flirtations.

The last thing I want to touch upon are the transits of Saturn and Jupiter. Both are retrograde in Capricorn at the moment. Which for you means there is a certain focus on 9th house topics like studies, writing, travel and religion. That focus has been there for the last couple of years. In the last few years you have probably been working on a writing project/research project or started new studies either at an institution or by selfstudy. Maybe you started studying astrology or other spiritual or religious related studies or practices in your spare time. Or you started a study in support of your career. Whatever it is, there is still some work left to do. The last thesis to write. The last capabilities to learn. Or just reviewing all that you have learned. At the end of the year both Jupiter and Saturn will move into your 10th house. This means there will be a major focus on your career in 2021. Next year will be quite a big year for you Taurus; the focus will be on career, but it will also reflect on your personal growth and love life. Jupiter will bring you some luck in your career and probably also in other areas of your life. Saturn will be there to put you to the test. Saturn will ask you to show up early and leave the office last; Saturn asks for discipline. If you do the work, you will be rewarded. My advice: use this second half of 2020 to prepare for 2021. It will give you a head start. Good luck dear Taurus!

Leo rising

Dear Leo,

Work and love are main topics of interest for most people. Especially when someone dives into horoscopes, they often hope to find clues about their love life or career. In your case there is actually plenty to talk about when it comes to these topics. In the past two to three years you have definitely experienced changes when it comes to work or are thinking about changing things up in the future. And there’s a good chance your love life has undergone some changes, or is about to undergo changes in the coming years.

Uranus is currently moving through Taurus and is making hard aspects to your angular houses. Depending on the degree of your ascendant you have experienced changes/challenges in career and relationships, or are about to face those changes/challenges in the coming years. Either way and in some kind of way: you are revolutionising yourself. Especially the ways in which you enter the world; through changes in career and/or through expressing a part of yourself that has been dormant for years. A part of you is breaking free of chains and you are pushed to express yourself honestly and you are pushed to stand for your needs, dreams, desires and values (even while you might still be figuring out exactly what those are, you have time and you will figure it out along the way). Maybe you are figuring out what you want to do in life and are meeting challenges along the pursuit of your dreams. Or life is throwing you some unexpected curveballs or challenges that force you to reflect upon your identity and the life you want to build. You are discovering that you don’t need to and maybe even don’t want to follow the expectations of either loved ones or society. In some kind of way you find that you need to follow a different path. You are allowed to decide for yourself who you are and how you want to shape your life. Maybe you don’t want to do the career that everyone expects you to. Maybe you don’t want to do the mundane family life. Since 2018 the cosmos is forcing you to do things differently. The beauty of it: this transit supports you in living an authentic life. This transit is both rebellion and psychotherapy. It’s both revolution and pilgrimage. It’s terrifying but it can also be exhilarating. My advice: dare to let go of control and don’t let fear hold you back. Don’t let fear hold you back ever, but especially not in these years.

All the soul searching and self-expression that comes with this Uranus transit can bring changes and/or challenges in your committed partnerships. Especially if you were in a committed love relationship before Uranus entered Taurus (before 2018). Challenges and breakups in love relationships are not uncommon when Uranus is making hard aspects to angular houses. When one needs to stand for either dreams, values or their authentic self expression and when that isn’t aligned with the dreams or values of the partner: challenge will arise. Because Uranus in Taurus revolutionises the ways in which you want go through life; it will create friction with those in your life who thought or hoped you would do a or b (but here you come with c…). But/and: it’s also highly possible you will enter in the coming time, or have entered in the past two years, a totally different relationship than you have ever had before, fall in love with someone you wouldn’t have considered your type or find new love in weird, challenging or just unexpected circumstances. Uranus can bring you awesome love too, and maybe it already has. In case you are single: be open minded and dare to go on an adventure.

Since 2017 you have had to gear up at your workplace. It’s highly possible that you either: found a new job / got relocated / got a new position with new responsibilities / or started a new project or something like that. Either way, some new responsibilities came your way and you needed to restructure your work life. You have probably been working quite hard and with discipline. You may have encountered some challenges along the way; but in case you put in the hard work, you will have managed them in some kind of way. All this focus on work was due to Saturn transiting your 6th house.

This spring and early summer Saturn moved through your 7th house of committed partnerships, for a short while. This brought more focus on your committed partnerships. This part of your life suddenly demanded (even) more attention. Saturn is known to bring challenge. In spring you were definitely asked to ‘show up’ in some kind of way in your committed partnership; which means in a romantic relationship, business partnership or close friendship. That coupled with the fact that Uranus makes a hard aspect to your 7th house plus the fact that Venus was retrograde in spring and early summer: it’s like you got all bad relationship astrology dumped together from April – June. Serious crap. All these transits are known to bring separation. They don’t necessarily have to, but they are known for it. And you had them all three piling up. Most commonly it effects long term romantic partnerships, but it can also have an effect on business partnerships or committed friendships. Not all Saturn transits in the 7th house bring separation, not every Venus retrograde brings separation and not all harsh Uranus aspects bring separation. Saturn can solidify relationships. Uranus can revolutionise relationships. Venus retrograde can bring honesty and intimacy in relationships. So some relationships might actually have undergone growth, deepened intimacy and strengthening of bonds in April – June. But if there were cracks in a relationship, having all these three transits together at once is not helpful at all…

In the second half of 2020 Saturn puts his focus again on your workplace. A last project that needs finishing, some last responsibilities to take care of. Saturn in your 6th house is way less challenging than having Saturn in your 7th house (except if you have placements in the 6th house in your natal chart or were born while Saturn was in Capricorn and are now at the end of your Saturn return; then the transit of Saturn into the 7th house might be a bit of a relief). Mid December Saturn will enter your 7th house again and he will stay there for a couple of years. Which means that in the next couple of years the universe will be challenging you to take ownership and responsibility in your committed partnerships, to show up and to do honest and hard work in your relationships. But also: to figure out what you want in a committed partnership, to learn to set boundaries if needed and to stand up for yourself if needed. It goes both ways. Committed partnerships are hard work. It’s about attending to the needs of the other but also daring to state your own. You will learn that you don’t need to sacrifice your needs, just as you can’t ask for the other person to sacrifice theirs. Relationships are sometimes pretty damn difficult and Saturn is pointing that out to you. However, if you do the hard work and face the challenge, it may bring you much blessings in the years to come. In the next couple of years you can do the ground work that is necessary for building the most solid, satisfying and strong relationships.

All of the above might sound so challenging that you might think you are doomed. You are not! There is great help coming in. Jupiter, bringer of luck, will be in your 7th house for the biggest part of 2021. So, you will definitely experience some luck when it comes to committed partnerships in the next year. If you are single there will be chances that you will meet someone awesome. If you are a business owner you might attract clients or find a supportive partnership or collaboration. If you are in a romantic relationship, Jupiter will definitely be supportive of growth and development. So, between the lows, there will definitely be highs! Something to look forward to! Especially if you were born during the day, Jupiter will be doing his utmost best for you.

Mars just entered (end of June) your 9th house of studies, travels, religion, spirituality and yes also astrology. Mars stays here throughout the second half of 2020. From now until September you may suddenly have new interest in (one of) these 9th house topics. You will find that you have the motivation and passion to study and/or write, travel, or to dive into spiritual practices. In case you are working on a research project, writing a book or article, or are into religious studies: make use of the energy and passion that Mars provides. Between now and September you can get a shitload of work done. You may also experience the desire to go out in the world and to travel, either for fun or work related.

Sometimes Mars transits bring a bit of difficulty though. When it comes to 9th house topics this could mean car engines exploding while you are driving through the vineyards in France, or something like that. In case you want to rent a car in a foreign country, my advice would be to make sure you have your insurances covered and maybe, just maybe, don’t rent a Lamborghini in Italy and go speeding (like Mars sometimes likes to do). Oh, and don’t go bungee jumping while you are on holiday. To all Leo’s I want to advice against high risk sports in foreign countries for the rest of 2020. But other than that, in case you do go on holiday: have fun!

On September 9th Mars will station retrograde. From then until mid November all those 9th house topics will feel a bit more sluggish. In case you are a student, writer, researcher or teacher, or in case you do some type of religious work, you may feel like you lack motivation, energy and passion to get to and through work during these months. You may encounter friction and challenge. Things just won’t go as easily as they would normally go. Stick it out, it’s just for a short while. In case an issue in this area of life popped up in July or August, it will probably resurface in September, October or November. When Mars stations direct again mid November, the energy, passion and motivation will flow back in no time.

On July 22nd the Sun enters Leo. This is great for you. The Sun is strong and shines bright in Leo, he will light up your 1th house. From July 22nd till August 22nd you will experience extra confidence and energy. This transit just feels like an overall good boost and it will also be helpful in expressing yourself. Enjoy it and make use of it. It’s definitely supportive for speaking / acting / teaching and standing in front of groups. It’s supportive for creative expression. And in case you want to go out into the dating scene, it’s definitely supportive of that too. Enjoy the good vibes and spread them in the world. Dear Leo, you have the gift of shining warm and bright, like the Sun. When you are able to do so, you will warm the hearts of people around you. You have the gift of seeing the light, talents and gifts in others and your gift is to bring it out in them. The brighter you shine yourself, the better you will be able to do that sacred work of empowering others. Soak up that sunlight and make the world a brighter place. And: don’t let fear hold you back, ever.

Scorpio rising

Dear Scorpio,

With Uranus passing through your 7th house of committed partnerships, this part of your life is changing in challenging and probably totally unexpected ways. Uranus entered this part of your chart in 2018 and will stay here till 2026.

This transit, Uranus in the 7th house, is all about revolutionising and reworking your relationships with others: especially committed romantic partnerships, business partnerships and intimate friendships. This transit is ultimately also about revolutionising yourself. As human beings we identify ourselves in relation to others. This transit might help you in uncovering parts of yourself that may have been hidden. This transit brings amazing opportunities to grow. It may however feel as bumpy ride. Uranus in Taurus brings discomfort. My advice: don’t be afraid of the unknown… It’s not an easy thing, but Uranus in the 7th house can ultimately bring much good. Uranus wants to break you free from what’s holding you back in life.

In case you were in a steady relationship in 2018; you and you partner may have faced some challenges. Which could have led to a breakup somewhere in the last two years. It could also have led to you two being able to revolutionise your relationship into something stronger. Or maybe you are still working through it. Either way, things have been changing in the last few years and it hasn’t been comfortable all the time.

In case you were single or are (again) single, you may have fallen in love or will fall in love in the coming years with someone totally unexpected. Or you may find yourself in a type of relationship you wouldn’t have expected you would ever have. The strictly monogamous person wanting the be polyamorous, something like that. You may learn and discover a lot about yourself by entering a relationship with someone who isn’t your usual type, or you may find yourself dating someone you have known for a while but are now seeing in a totally new light. We learn so much about ourselves through others. This transit definitely offers you some lessons.

This Uranus transit lasts till 2026. Depending on the degree of your ascendant, you are past the most challenging times, in the midst of it or you are still about to face it. For those of you with the ascendant between 4-12 degrees; the second half of 2020 will probably bring up some challenges when it comes to romance and other committed partnerships and/or your self development. In case your ascendant is on a later degree, I advice you to hold on tight in the years to come. You might already experience challenges, but they will build op more. The closer Uranus is to the ascendant, the more challenging it is. So, all of this ‘Uranus in the 7th house stuff’ isn’t necessarily specific for the second half of 2020. But it is something that has been, is and will be present in your life for a while. Like an underlying theme from 2018-2026. But again, depending on the degree of your ascendant you have had the worst and are overcoming those challenges or you still needing to face most of it. Apart from challenge, this transit can also bring fun and adventure. Be open minded, try to let go of control, and you may actually find yourself experiencing love, pleasure and adventure that expands your heart and mind in ways you would have never expected. Uranus transits are harder when we resist change and are fearful of the unknown. Uranus transits get easier when we dare to let go of control and dare to go into the unknown.

Throughout the second half of 2020, your ruler Mars will be in Aries. Mars feels at home and is strong in Aries. In July and August you will have new found energy, motivation and passion. Which will be supportive regarding projects and tasks at work. You may also find that you have more physical strength or just feel more energized in general. It is possible however that conflicts with employers/employees/colleagues arise or that you may experience inflammation in the body or some other health issue arises. From September till mid November you might experience some fatigue or a general lack of motivation and passion. Some things regarding work or a certain health topic might need to be revisited or redone.

Mid October Mercury will station retrograde in your 1st house, and while it is retrograde it will transit back into Libra and your 12th house. It will station direct again on November third and it will move back into Scorpio and your 1st house on November 10th. During this period you are asked to reflect on the way you approach the world. You will also need to reflect on your innermost feelings, fears, anxieties, dreams and hopes. How do these influence you? And how do they impact the way you move through the world? What holds you back? What empowers you? It’s not necessarily easy. But this period of reflection is supportive for healing work on the self. If you take the time to reflect (journaling and meditation will definitely help) this transit can benefit you greatly. After Mercury stations direct you will feel more confident in expressing yourself. And I hope you will express yourself. Your voice has value and is meant to be heard dear Scorpio.

From the 21st of November till the 15th of December Venus will move through your 1st house. This feels good! In case you are single and are looking to date and/or flirt: this transit is definitely helpful. Venus will give you some extra beauty and magnetism. She will boost your confidence too. Venus in the 1st house may attract new love interests. But apart from dating, Venus in the 1st house is beneficial for all kinds of interactions with other people. Friends, co-workers, family, or your partner if you are in a relationship; people will feel drawn to you just a little bit more in these weeks. Make use of the good vibes. Dress up and do all the Venusian things. Go get massages, go out dancing. Whatever it is that you like to do that is pleasurable or has to do with beauty; carve out time for it. It’s a time to celebrate your body and to give your body some love. Enjoy the good vibes.

Aquarius rising

Dear Aquarius,

Uranus is currently moving through Taurus and is making hard aspects to your angular houses. In case your ascendant lies in the early degrees of Aquarius, you have definitely experienced challenges when it comes to your home life, committed partnerships, career and/or the expression of your identity and sense of self. If your ascendant falls in the later degrees of Aquarius, the biggest challenges still await you. The transit of Uranus through Taurus is from 2018-2026.

Your sense of home and belonging is changing in some kind of way. Taurus contains the 4th house in your chart, the house of home, roots and ancestry. This area of your life is definitely up for change and revolution. You may actually be moving homes, maybe even across the country or world. Or you might be renovating. In case you aren’t revolutionising your physical place(s) of belonging, the topics of family, parents and/or ancestry are in some kind of way asking for your attention. This could also have to do with roommates: changes in roommates for example. There might be disruptive changes or issues going on in the family. Or maybe you will find that you’re a starting to relate to your history in a totally new way. The topics of parents / parenting are possibly on your mind.

Whatever of the above applies to you, it will definitely impact other parts of your life. It may reflect on your sense of identity, your career and/or love life. The changes in roots and home might bring you to quit a job or start looking for a new one. Problems at home might bring issues in relationships with significant others. It might also be the other way around: you love life that creates changes in your home life (for example moving in together, or the opposite: separating). All your angular houses are getting harsh aspects by Uranus. It’s not uncommon for relationships to end. It’s not uncommon that career changes happen. It’s not uncommon that you might experience an identity crisis. Uranus brings all of that. However: Uranus can also bring new and exciting love. Uranus can bring amazing growth and self-development. Uranus brings the opportunity to revolutionise your life. The revolution, for you dear Aquarius, has mostly to do with your innermost feelings, sense of home and belonging. Be open minded and try to go with the flow. You can’t control Uranus. Try to work with him and the transit will be all the more beneficial. Uncomfortable definitely, but beneficial. In the end Uranus wants to revolutionise you. Uranus can bring amazing experiences in your life. Don’t resist the unexpected and the uncomfortable and this transit will work out the better for you. Again, depending on the degree of your ascendant you have experienced most of the change, are in the midst of it, or are still needing to experience most of it somewhere in the coming years. But in general, this is a theme for 2018-2026.

Saturn, your ascendant’s ruler, is retrograde at the moment. He is retrograde in your 12th house. Saturn will be retrograde till the end of September. Mid December Saturn will move into your 1st house. While Saturn is retrograde you are asked to slow down, to take rest and to review. With Saturn in your 12th house you are asked to reflect on the question: how have I established myself? Career, love, all the important topics in life are up for review. What are you happy with? What not? While Saturn is retrograde: review and take it slow. When Saturn stations direct again end of September, you will find that you regain a bit more energy and desire to go out in the world. From the end of September till mid December I would like to advice you to take the time to prepare yourself for Saturn entering your 1st house. When Saturn enters your 1st house you will enter a time with the potential for amazing personal growth. But the growth only comes when you put in the effort. You can prepare yourself by reflecting on ‘who you want to be’. Love, career, etc.; it all comes into play. It’s a gigantic question! So take the second half of 2020 to go slow and to prepare.

When Saturn enters your 1st house on the 17th of December you will start a process of ‘restructuring’ your identity and self. It is about showing up for yourself. Following the transit of Saturn in the 12th house you will still need to do a lot of reflective work but you will also start to put it into action. It’s a good time for therapy or counselling. When Saturn is in your 1st house you will be asked to take responsibility for yourself and your own life. Whatever it is that you are not happy with, whatever it is that is bothering you: you will need to deal with it. It sounds harsh. It is harsh. That is the vibe that Saturn will bring to you. If you actually do the work, it can bring you amazing rewards. How do you want to establish yourself in the world? Who do you want to be? What kind of life do you want to live? Those are incredibly big questions. You will have the amazing opportunity to start over. Which is not an easy thing. But it is a blessing not everyone of us gets!

From September 6th till October 2nd, Venus will move through your 7th house of relationships. This is a lovely transit! It’s beneficial for all committed partnerships (business, friendships, love relationships). You will find that you get along nice and easily with most people in all areas of life. But it’s definitely most of a blessing for the most intimate relationships. In case you are in a romantic partnership, this transit will be good for it. Carve out extra time with your partner. Venus in the 7th house wants to be intimate. It’s a great period for sharing. Venus wants to be close, both physically and emotionally. In case you are single this transit is beneficial too. The chance of meeting a potential partner is heightened when Venus transits the 7th house.

At the end of 2020 Jupiter will move into Aquarius and your 1st house. Jupiter will move through your 1st house for almost all of 2021. It’s an amazingly helpful transit. You will start a complete new cycle of growth in your life. People and resources that are of help in shaping the life of your dreams, may just by luck enter your life. Fortune will enter your life. Keep your eyes open to it, so you don’t miss the beautiful opportunities that life will throw at your feet in 2021. Because Saturn is in your 1st house too; and Saturn is known to make one a little restricted and closed off, there might be a tendency to not spot the beautiful opportunities that are out there in the world. So you will need to remind yourself to keep your eyes open. Luck won’t knock at your front door, but it will definitely be there in 2021 if you keep your eyes open to it.

Dear Aquarius: take it easy for the rest of 2020 if you can. Prepare yourself for 2021. Because next year will be big for you. It will become a year of hard work but it will also be a year of opportunity. You are about to enter a phase of potentially enormous personal growth. So, for now: take rest, load your battery and prepare. Much luck dear water bearer, may Jupiter and Saturn be on your side.
